RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Presidency welcomed the announcement by the State of South Africa of its continued commitment to follow up on the case it filed in the International Court of Justice against Israel, the occupying power, for committing crimes of genocide against Palestinian people in Gaza. The Palestinian Presidency affirmed the State of Palestine's readiness to fully coordinate and diligently follow up with the State of South Africa and with the rest of the countries that joined the case in the International Court of Justice to stop the genocide, and achieve accountability and justice. It called on partner and friendly countries to join the case of South Africa and the countries that stood by the Palestinian right to ensure the enforcement of international law and its implementation without double standards. The Presidency appreciated the position of the people and government of South Africa, which always supports and advocates for the Palestinian right, and this firm commitment reflects the commo n consensus on devoting the values ??of justice and human rights in the international arena and on the depth of relations between the two countries.
