Presidency praises statements by Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry

RAMALLAH: The Palestinian presidency Wednesday expressed its great thanks and appreciation for the strong and clear Saudi position expressed in the Saudi statement issued today, Wednesday, in support of legitimate and inalienable Palestinian rights, foremost of which is the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. The presidency added that President Mahmoud Abbas highly appreciates the solid Saudi position led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, and their tireless efforts seeking to embody the rights of the Palestinian people to freedom and independence, and establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, praising adheres to the authentic and consistent historical Saudi positions towards the Palestinian people and their just cause. The presidency affirmed its confidence in this firm and solid Saudi support which is consistent with the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative, during these dangerous circumstances that the region and the world are going through.
