Popular Mobilization Forces carry out a security operation in Diyala

Baghdad: A force from the Diyala Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out a large-scale security operation in the orchards north of Muqdadiyah in Diyala Governorate today, Wednesday. The Commander of the Diyala Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Talib al-Moussawi, said according to the Popular Mobilization Forces website that "the force has begun since dawn today a large-scale search and inspection operation in the depths of the Muqdadiyah orchards to search for wanted persons and secure the places where visitors are located." He added that "the Command units have been continuing for two days to carry out preemptive security operations within the sector of responsibility, with high-level intelligence support."
