Brigadier General Bashir Al-Anbaki told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that a joint force from the first and third regiments, the engineering of the command and the 20th Brigade carried out a joint security operation to search the villages of Malik Shah, Imam Abbas, Aliwa, Jamil Bek, Shafiq Agha, Hussein Bek, Mahmoud Aziz, Al-Ikhwa, Ibrahim Al-Ali, and the villages of Joda and Al-Mayah. He added that the operation aims to secure the surroundings of Khanaqin and its villages in order to preserve the safety of citizens and enhance security and stability in the region.
