Popular cultural evenings in Sa’ada district on occasion of Prophet’s birthday

Popular cultural evenings were organized in Sa'ada district, the center of Sa'ada province, to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family. The evenings included popular chants, songs, and Zawamel, a type of popular chanting, by a number of chanting groups and poems that reflected joy and happiness at the advent of the anniversary of the birth of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers. "Zawamel is a form of traditional chanting found. It involves a style of vocal performance that is characterized by its rhythmic and melodic qualities. This form of chanting often includes praise, storytelling, and expressions of religious devotion. In the context of celebrating events such as the Prophet's birthday, Zawamel typically features songs and chants that honor the Prophet Muhammad and reflect the cultural and religious significance of the occasion." Province undersecretary for Services Affairs Saleh Uqab stressed the importance of commemorating t he anniversary of the Prophet's birthday by holding festivals, events and decorations befitting the greatness of the owner of this occasion. He praised the efforts of those in charge of these cultural evenings that root the love of the Messenger of God among generations and connect them to the Prophet of Mercy for their pride, dignity and freedom.
