The General People's Congress strongly condemned the American forces targeting boats belonging to the Yemeni naval forces while they were in Yemeni territorial waters in the Red Sea, which led to the martyrdom of ten Yemeni naval personnel. In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the conference considered the American targeting of the Yemeni naval forces an unjustified aggression and evidence of the extent of American complicity and even participation in the aggression against Gaza and Palestine in general. He stressed that the targeting is an American attempt to prevent the Yemeni armed forces from performing their duty in supporting and supporting Palestine in the face of Zionist aggression and war of annihilation against them. The statement renewed the Popular Congress' condemnation of the American aggression against the Yemeni naval forces, stressing the right of the Yemeni people and the Yemeni armed forces to respond to this attack.
