Amman: The Public Security Directorate (PSD) Sunday denied rumours on social media about gangs specialised in causing accidents against tourists and tourist vehicles. The PSD media office reported, "What the video contained was nothing but an exaggeration of the issue to stir up public opinion and carried a negative impression that may affect tourism." It explained that the PSD was the first to publish warnings about some cases of causing accidents on more than one occasion and how to deal with them, avoid them and investigate them and that what was dealt with was a limited number of those cases that do not rise to the level of the phenomenon or gangs.
