PMF arrests one of the most dangerous leaders of ISIS in Nineveh

The Directorate of Investigations and Preventive Security in the General Directorate of Security and Discipline in the Popular Mobilization Commission announced today, Wednesday, the arrest of one of the most dangerous leaders of the terrorist ISIS in Nineveh Governorate. The Popular Mobilization Commission said in a statement: "In a new qualitative achievement, a force from the Directorate of Investigations and Preventive Security in the General Directorate of Security and Discipline in the Popular Mobilization Commission was able to arrest one of the most dangerous leaders of the remnants of the terrorist ISIS in Nineveh Governorate." It added, "This came during a qualitative security operation and after careful follow-up by the Directorate of Investigations and Preventive Security and after obtaining judicial approvals, where one of the most dangerous leaders of the remnants of the terrorist ISIS was arrested, who holds a statistical number and belongs to the so-called "Nineveh Province". The statement continued, "The terrorist held the position of (Sharia Chief of Al-Waleed Sector) and participated in terrorist operations against the Iraqi army and security forces in Nineveh Governorate", stressing that, "ecessary legal and duly measures were taken against the terrorist to receive a just punishment in light of the crimes he committed". The Commission indicated that "this qualitative operation came within a series of important qualitative operations carried out by the Popular Mobilization Forces to pursue the remnants of the terrorist ISIS, destroy their hideouts and overthrow their criminal elements so that they do not have a foothold in any inch of the homeland".
