Prime Minister, Mohammad Mustafa, met on Friday with Norwegian Foreign Minister, Espen Barth Eide, in Madrid, where they discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian Territory, in light of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Gaza Strip and the escalated aggression of the occupation forces and colonists in the West Bank. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance efforts and garner support from Norway and European allies for Palestinian initiatives to stop the aggression, end the Israeli occupation, implement the two-state solution and embody the establishment of a Palestinian state. They also addressed the need to support Gaza's reconstruction plans once a ceasefire is reached. The Prime Minister commended Norway for its consistent support of Palestinian rights and recent recognition of the State of Palestine. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic-European ministerial meeting on coordinating responses to the Gaza situation and advancing the two-state so lution.
