A refresher course for ping-pong referees, organized by the Yemeni Table Tennis Federation, will start tomorrow at the Al-Ahli Club Hall in Sana'a. This two-day course, held in celebration of the Prophet's birthday and supervised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports with support from the Youth Welfare Fund, will feature international referee Nofal Al-Habshi. Dr. Essam al-Senini, President of the Yemeni Table Tennis Federation, stated that the course aims to update ten referees on the latest changes to international table tennis rules. It is part of a broader program to enhance the skills and knowledge of Yemeni referees. The course is scheduled just before the Republic Championship for clubs, which begins next Monday, allowing referees to apply their new knowledge in a practical setting. Dr. al-Senini expressed hope that the training will improve referees' abilities and contribute to the success of upcoming tournaments. The Federation is committed to ongoing development despite financial constraints and will continue to focus on improving its referees and other cadres. The session will officially commence tomorrow morning, following the arrival of participants and materials on Friday evening. Source: Yemen News Agency
