Salfit - Ma'an - At dawn on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces raided a number of citizens' homes in the town of Derastiya, northwest of Salfit, and detained a number of citizens and interrogated them on the ground. The mayor of Derastiya, Firas Dhiyab, said that the occupation forces stormed the town at dawn today, raided the homes of a number of citizens, searched them, and wreaked havoc, including vandalizing and destroying furniture, and interrogated a number of its residents. Dhiab added that the occupation soldiers detained the mother of the young man, Diaa Muhammad, for several hours until he arrived from the city of Ramallah, and detained him for hours and interrogated him. The occupation forces also detained Yasser Arafat Imad, Abdel Hamid Dhiyab, Raafat Imad Dhiyab, Rami Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Ahmed Jamil Kokesh, Jihad Nihad Abdullah, Salem Jihad Mansour, and Talha Muhammad Awad, for hours, interrogated them on the ground, and assaulted them by beating them.
