HEBRON - Ma'an - Large crowds of people from the town of Beit Ummar and the surrounding areas today, Saturday, buried the body of the martyr Ibrahim Hamza Ibrahim Zaaqiq, 22 years old, to his final resting place in the town's cemetery. The media activist in Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, reported that the funeral procession set off from the Beit Ummar Grand Mosque, passing through the streets of the town. The participants in the funeral procession chanted national slogans calling for closing ranks and adhering to national unity, which is the basis of the Palestinian people's struggles in confronting the occupation. It is noteworthy that the martyr Al-Zaaqiq is the seventh martyr in Beit Ummar since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip last October, as he was shot in the head last night by the occupation army. He had been released from the occupation prisons about two weeks ago after being detained for six months. Source: Maan News Agency
