Amman: In a meeting held on Tuesday with the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Algerian Embassy, Loumachi Rabah, the Director General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Fairouz Mubaideen, discussed the crucial need for activating and enhancing coordination and media exchange between Jordan and Algeria. This collaborative effort aims to reflect the achievements and development witnessed by both countries across various fields. Mubaideen emphasized the agency's commitment to strengthening relations with all Arab and international news agencies to leverage mutual experiences. She highlighted an existing cooperation program with the Algerian News Agency (WAJ), encompassing collaboration in the exchange of information, news, photos, videos, and other news-related and technical services. Underlining the significance of knowledge sharing between the two sides, Mubaideen stressed the importance of leveraging the experiences of both agencies to serve the interests of their respective countries and their workforce. Th e Algerian official underscored the importance of bolstering media cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing the need to capitalize on the memorandum of understanding in the field of media cooperation signed between the governments of Jordan and Algeria.
