The public corporation for insurances and pensions started the payment of the second half of August 2020 pension for civil retirees, via post offices in Sana'a City and governorates. The ministry of finance has finished the procedures needed to transfer funds to the post office and begin payment starting from today, chairman of the corporation told Saba on Thursday, calling on retirees and agents of recipients to got to post offices. Efforts were exerted to cope with cash shortage and other difficulties caused by the Central Bank move to Aden, that lead to delay in pension and salary payment, Ibrahim al-Haifi added. Despite aggression and siege, the corporation exerts every effort to pay pensions on time and ease retirees' sufferings, he argued. Source: Yemen News Agency
