Ramallah: A report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) showed a sharp increase in the Producer Price Index (PPI) during April 2025.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the overall Producer Price Index for Palestine, with its base year set at 2019, reached 179.50 in April 2025. This marks a significant increase of 12.96% compared to March 2025.
The report highlighted a notable rise in the Producer Price Index for locally consumed products, which reached 186.02 in April 2025. This represents an increase of 13.69% compared to the previous month.
Furthermore, the Producer Price Index for local exported products reached 118.60 in April 2025, showing an increase of 3.29% compared to March 2025.
