Parliament speaker Yahya al-Rai' on Thursday sent congratulations to Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri. In the cable, al-Rai' congratulated Berri on the anniversary of the 2006 war victory, celebrated by the Lebanese people and their resistance against the Occupation. Al-Rai' highlighted the significant role of Lebanese resistance, led by Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, in supporting Gaza and addressing regional issues. He commended the historic 2006 victory over the Occupation entity as a pivotal moment for liberation and resistance movements worldwide. Al-Rai' reaffirmed that the only way to deter the Zionist threat is through strength until complete victory and the liberation of occupied Arab territories are achieved. He also lauded the valor of Lebanese resistance fighters in the Gaza Strip and expressed solidarity with Lebanon in confronting Zionist aggression. Speaker al-Rai' wished Berri continued good health and success in parliamentary relations between Yemen and Lebanon, and extended his hopes for vict ory for all resistance fighters.
