Parliament Presidency calls on Council to hold extraordinary session tomorrow, Wednesday

The Presidency of parliament continued its meeting today,Tuesday, headed by the Speaker of the Council and Head of the Board, Yahya Al-Ra'i, to discuss a number of topics related to its legislative and oversight tasks included in its agenda for this period. It approved the invitation of Council members to attend an extraordinary session tomorrow, Wednesday, to discuss a number of important topics on the legislative and supervisory sides. The Commission stood in front of the developments of events , the attacks and genocidal war that the Arab and Islamic nation is being exposed to in order to liquidate the Palestinian cause and impose the reality of forced displacement on the Palestinians. It reaffirmed Yemen's firm position in support of the Palestinian cause in resisting the occupation, restoring the legitimate rights of the Palestinians, and establishing its independent state on the entire Palestinian territory, with Holy Al-Quds as its capital. Council's Presidency warned the Coalition to Protect the Z ionist Entity in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab , the Arabian Sea against the movements and statements issued by the European Union regarding the beginning of the deployment of its fleet in Red Sea, which comes within the framework of the arrangements being made by the Israeli enemy to commit a new massacre against the Palestinians in Rafah city. It renewed its support for the directives of the Revolution Leader and the Supreme Political Council to consider the ships, fleets, and warships of the countries of the coalition to protect the Zionist entity as a target for the Yemeni naval forces, and that Yemen will not abandon its clear and specific positions to stop the aggression and lift the siege on the people of Palestine. The Commission held the United Nations, the Security Council and their affiliated bodies responsible for the shameful silence regarding what is happening against the Palestinians and the seriousness of the situation that threatens a humanitarian catastrophe unprecedented in history against m ore than two million Palestinians under aggression and siege. It called on the Arab and Islamic peoples to play their fraternal and humanitarian role in supporting the Palestinians and rejecting the policy of subservience and silence to which weak regimes have adapted.
