The Spanish national team have secured their ticket to the Men's Olympic Football Tournament finale at Paris 2024, after defeating Morocco 2-1 in a match held at the Marseille stadium on Monday. Morocco opened the scoring with a penalty goal by Soufiane Rahimi in the 37th minute, however, Spain equalized through Fermin Lopez in the 66th minute, with Juanlu Sanchez then doubling Spain's lead just 5 minutes before the end of regular time. Morocco still have a chance to win an Olympic medal as they will face the loser of the match between Egypt and France in the third and fourth place playoff. The final will take place at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris on Friday, while the third and fourth place match will be held in Nantes on Thursday. Source: Qatar News Agency
