The Qatari beach volleyball team is due to face Chile, on Monday, in the round of 16 of the beach volleyball competition at the 33rd Summer Olympics, Paris 2024. Spearheaded by the duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, Qatar eyes triumph over Chile's Esteban Grimalt and Marco Grimalt to secure a place in the quarterfinals and move a step closer to winning a medal. The Qatari team qualified for the Round of 16 after topping Group A in the group stage with a perfect score, winning against Italy, Sweden and Australia. On the other hand, Chile finished in third place in Group B after securing only one victory against the Italy 2-0, while lose to Norway 0-2 and the Netherlands with the same score.
