Spain also emerged victorious, defeating Slove nia 25-22, overcoming an 8-11 deficit at halftime to secure their first two points. Additionally, Croatia edged out Japan in a thrilling encounter, winning 30-29. The Japanese team led 18-13 at halftime, but Croatia made a strong comeback in the second half, securing their first two points and keeping their hopes alive for advancing to the next round.
