JERUSALEM: A Palestinian youth was fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces last night near the Mizmoria checkpoint, which separates Jerusalem from Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. The Israeli occupation authorities claimed Ahmad Alian, a Palestinian from Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, attempted a stabbing attack that allegedly targeted Israeli occupation police officers manning the checkpoint. Following the deadly incident, Israeli occupation forces stormed Alian family's home in the neighborhood , conducting a thorough search and reportedly mistreating its occupants.
