A Palestinian youth was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces tonight during an Israeli raid into the town of Arraba, in the northern West Bank province of Jenin, according to local and Palestinian security sources. The sources told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Arraba amid the firing of live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas, targeting civilians and their homes. The attack on the town resulted in a 23-year-old young man sustaining a live bullet wound in his thigh. He was subsequently transported to hospital by the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance teams. The Israeli occupation forces further set up ambushes, deployed infantry units, and positioned snipers on the rooftops of buildings and houses in the town, leading to confrontations with local residents, the sources added. This development adds to the ongoing tensions in the region amid the continued use of lethal force by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian civilians, raising concerns about the safety of the civilian Palestinian population living under Israeli military occupation.
