Bethlehem: A Palestinian worker died on Saturday after being chased by Israeli occupation forces in the Wadi Al-Hummus area, near the villages of Dar Salah and Sur Baher, both located between Jerusalem and Bethlehem. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Palestinian security sources reported that the Israeli forces pursued 55-year-old Ahmad Younis Rubay'ah as he attempted to enter Jerusalem for work. During the chase, Rubay'ah collapsed and lost consciousness. He was rushed to a hospital in Jerusalem, where he was later pronounced dead. The incident draws attention to the continued dangers faced by Palestinian workers, many of whom are subjected to harassment and violence by Israeli forces while attempting to reach their places of employment in Jerusalem and other areas.
