GAZA: The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) today announced the death of a 77-year-old female Palestinian citizen due to lack of oxygen at Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis. PRCS said in a statement that the hospital, which was under Israeli military siege for days, has been suffering from a severe shortage of oxygen needed for the intensive care room and for patients. Meanwhile, at least six Palestinian civilians were seriously injured by occupation live bullets near Kuwait Roundabout in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza, while thousands of citizens were waiting for humanitarian aid trucks arriving from the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli fighter jets further bombed a house in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, during which heavy smoke was seen coming from the targeted house.
