QALQILYA: A Palestinian teenager was shot and injured by live bullets on Friday during confrontations that broke out with Israeli occupation forces in Qalqilya Governorate. The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews dealt with a 14-year-old child with a live bullet wound in the knee. Eyewitnesses told WAFA that confrontations broke out between citizens and the occupation forces stationed at the military checkpoint north of the city, during which soldiers fired bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters at residents, shooing and injuring a teenager with live fire. Confrontations also broke out in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, east of Qalqilya, as Israeli forces suppressed the weekly peaceful anti-settlement march which demands the opening of the village street which had been closed for more than 20 years, in favor of colonial expansion.
