JERUSALEM: A Palestinian youth today succumbed to his wounds sustained yesterday evening by Israeli military gunfire east of occupied Jerusalem, according to medical and local sources. Sources said that 15-year-old Muhammad Tariq Abu Sneina, a resident of the West Bank town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, succumbed to his wounds he sustained after being shot by Israeli soldiers on Al-Wad Street in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem. He was transferred to a nearby hospital inside the 1948 territories, where he was later pronounced dead. Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces stationed on Al-Wad Street in the Old City opened heavy gunfire on Abu Sneina, wounding him and leaving him bleeding for a period of time. Israeli forces further detained the body of Abu Sneina and transported him in an Israeli ambulance. With the killing of Abu Sneina, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the occupied Jerusalem has risen to 8 since October 7. Source: Palestine news and Information Ag ency – WAFA
