Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received today a written message from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, related to bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.
The message was delivered by Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, during a meeting with the Palestinian president.
During the meeting, they reviewed the developments in the Palestinian arena and developments at the regional and international levels, and the efforts being made to stop the escalation and all acts of violence.
The Omani Foreign Minister stressed his country's firm support to the right of Palestinian people to establish their own independent state based on the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
