Palestinian Mother and Disabled Son Injured in Tulkarm Camp Bombing.

Tulkarm: A Palestinian woman and her disabled son, diagnosed with Down Syndrome, were injured by shrapnel after an occupation drone bombed a site in Tulkarm camp. The head of the Popular Committee for Services in Tulkarm Camp, Faisal Salama, told WAFA correspondent that the occupation aircraft targeted citizens in the services neighborhood in the center of the camp, which caused the woman and her son to be injured by shrapnel. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Siham Hamdan, 57, suffered a head injury from shrapnel and was transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital by Red Crescent ambulance, where her condition was reported to be stable. Her son, Hassan Muhammad Hamda, 30, was also injured in the head and remains in the house bleeding, as the occupation has prevented ambulance access to the camp. Salama highlighted the dire situation in the camp, describing it as a fierce war, with occupation forces firing weapons intensively and randomly, supported by drones that have been continuously flying over the area since the raid began. The forces, along with bulldozers, stormed Tulkarm camp and several neighborhoods, demolishing infrastructure and property while blocking access to homes and shops. The situation is further exacerbated by the deployment of snipers in tall buildings around the camp, firing live ammunition at any movement, and raiding citizens' homes and Al-Shuhada Mosque in Al-Murabba'a neighborhood. No detentions have been reported so far. Additional military reinforcements have been sent to Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, with a siege imposed on them, as the sounds of explosions continue to echo in the area.
