TULKARM: A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces during the ongoing major offensive in the city of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, which began last night. According to local sources, Ayed Abu al-Hayja, 62, was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper while he was at his home in the refugee camp of Nur Shams, where the occupation troops are conducting a military operation. The sources added that Abu Al-Haija, who was disabled, was killed while inside his home and no one knew about it until one of his family members checked on him and found him covered in blood. The ambulance crews have not yet been able to reach him to transfer him to the hospital due to the tight siege imposed by the occupation forces on the camp. With the killing of Abu Al-Haija, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers during in the occupation's wide aggression on Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarm rises to 11 martyrs, in addition to at least 26 wounded, and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
