RAMALLAH: The Palestinian leadership has begun efforts and contacts on a global level in preparation for the travel of President Mahmoud Abbas and members of the Palestinian leadership to the Gaza Strip. The president and leadership are preparing to travel to the Gaza Strip which is subjected to a genocidal war by the Israeli occupation, in order to restore national unity and emphasize that the State of Palestine and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) are the mandate holders responsible for the entire State of Palestine. In this regard, communication has been made with the United Nations, the permanent members of the UN Security Council, Arab and Islamic brotherly countries, the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the European Union (EU), the African Union and other significant countries and global powers, to ensure the success of this step and to secure support and maximum participation.
