RAMALLAH: Palestine Chief Justice, Advisor to the President for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, warned on Monday of the Israel's intention to restrict the entry of Palestinians to Al-Aqsa Mosque in the holy month of Ramadan, whether from within the 1948 territories, Jerusalemites, or the West Bank. Al-Habbash warned in a statement issued that such a 'terrorist measure will explode the situation in a way that no one expects or can be controlled, describing the step as further ignition of religious war.' He said that Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Jerusalem are the issue of more than two billion Muslims on the face of the earth, and the occupying state is trying in various ways and means to implement its old and new plans against the Mosque to Judaize it and empty it of its Islamic and Arab-Palestinian identity, taking advantage of the world's preoccupation these days with the war of extermination that it is waging against Palestinian people. In the Gaza Strip, to implement the Ju daization plot that it had always dreamed of for decades. Al-Habbash called on the international community and wise people in the world to restrain the occupying state and force it to stop its war of genocide and its comprehensive aggression against the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and to stop its unprecedented crimes against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.
