CAIRO: The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the Arab League, Muhannad al-Aklouk, said the State of Palestine has requested the convening of an extraordinary session of the Arab League Council tomorrow, on Thursday. Al-Aklouk added that this call comes in light of the ongoing crime of genocide committed by Israel, the occupying power, against the Palestinian people while taking into consideration the catastrophic and unprecedented deterioration of the situation in the Strip in general and in the city of Rafah and its camps in particular, where more than 1.5 million forcibly displaced persons are now crammed.
