RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 25 Palestinians in the West Bank during the last 24 hours, including a journalist and former prisoners. The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) and the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a joint statement that the detentions were distributed among the governorates of Hebron, Qalqilya, Jenin, Ramallah, Nablus, Tulkarm, Tubas, and Bethlehem. According to the statement, the Israeli occupation military continues to conduct extensive raids and acts of violence, accompanied by threats against detainees and their families, as well as destruction of property in the homes of civilians. Since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people exactly one year ago, Israeli occupation forces have detained over 11,200 individuals from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, the statement added.
