Ooredoo, a Qatari public shareholding company, has achieved a net profit of QR1.861 billion, in the first half of 2024, representing a 14% increase compared to the profits realized in the same period of 2023, which were QR1.625 billion. Chairman of Ooredoo, HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Thani Al-Thani, pointed out that Ooredoo Group delivered a solid set of results for the first half of 2024, highlighting that revenue grew by 3% to QAR 11.8 billion with a noteworthy increase in normalized net profit of 14%. His Excellency added that the sustained investment in Ooredoo's networks, strong market position and its commitment to customer excellence supported the performance. Ooredoo continued to make good progress in executing its disciplined strategy aiming to unlock value through operational efficiencies and key strategic initiatives while navigating industry complexities, HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Thani Al-Thani added, affirming that during the upcoming period, Ooredoo will focus on efficiencies and value creation.
