The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced the dismantling of one of the most dangerous trade and drug smuggling networks in the north of the country. The INSS stated in a statement that, based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to the Iraqi National Security Service regarding intensifying efforts to pursue crime and drug gangs, and in continuation of the specific strikes and ongoing campaigns carried out by our agency against drug traffickers and promoters, our detachments were able to dismantle one of the most dangerous trade and smuggling networks, arrest its members red-headed. The agency indicated that the operation was carried out according to judicial warrants in coordination between the North Baghdad Security Directorate and the Asayish Operations Department (Sulaymaniyah).
