One killed in Rahat shooting

Rahat - Ma'an - A young man was killed and another was injured in a shooting that took place in the town of Rahat in the Negev on Sunday morning. The victim of the murder in Rahat is the young man Muhammad Sheikh al-Eid. Ambulance crews received a report of people injured in a violent incident in the town of Rahat. A medical team immediately rushed to the scene and declared one person dead on the spot, while another person sustained varying degrees of injuries. The Israeli police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crime, and initial investigations showed that the background of the crime was criminal, without the police announcing any arrests, according to a brief statement issued by the police.
