Rahat - Ma'an - A young man was killed and another was injured in a shooting that took place in the town of Rahat in the Negev on Sunday morning. The victim of the murder in Rahat is the young man Muhammad Sheikh al-Eid. Ambulance crews received a report of people injured in a violent incident in the town of Rahat. A medical team immediately rushed to the scene and declared one person dead on the spot, while another person sustained varying degrees of injuries. The Israeli police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crime, and initial investigations showed that the background of the crime was criminal, without the police announcing any arrests, according to a brief statement issued by the police. It is noteworthy that the police found a vehicle that had been set on fire, and it is suspected that it was used in carrying out the crime. With the murder that was carried out in Rahat this Sunday morning, about 152 Arab citizens from the occupied interior have been killed since the beginning o f the year, including 8 women and 6 boys under the age of 18, in various crimes including shooting, stabbing and vehicle bombings.
