BEIRUT: A man was killed this evening following Israeli airstrikes targeting several towns in southern and eastern Lebanon, according to media reports. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the fatality occurred when an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the town of Deir Qanoun in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon. Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes and artillery bombarded the outskirts of the villages of Bayt Lif and Naqoura, as well as the towns of Taybe, Ayta al-Shaab, Ramieh, Khiam, Tallousa, and Wadi al-Salouqi. Phosphorus shells were also fired at the area of Tall al-Nahas, resulting in a fire. In addition, the same source reported that towns in the Baalbek district in eastern Lebanon were hit by three Israeli airstrikes, while Israeli drones conducted intensive surveillance over the area.
