Oman LNG Signs Sale And Purchase Agreement with Japanese Firm JERA

Muscat, Oman LNG Company has signed an agreement for the sale and purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with the Japanese firm, JERA. The agreement sets forth the provision of up to 0.8 million metric tons of LNG annually from the Oman LNG industrial complex to JERA over a period of ten years, commencing in 2025, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported. The agreement will contribute to enhancing the existing cooperation between the two sides, as JERA is the largest importer of liquefied natural gas from the Sultanate of Oman in Japan. Oman LNG is looking forward, through this cooperation, to consolidate its position in the Japanese markets. CEO of the Oman LNG Company Hamad bin Mohammed Al Nuamani emphasized the significance of the agreement in strengthening the burgeoning partnership with JERA, a key player in Japans energy sector. Qatar Stars League official website said that Al Shamal were dogged in defence especially in the opening half leaving Al Wakrahs attacking line frustrated. However, in the 29th minute, Al Shamals Fahad Waad in an attempt to beat an advancing Jacinto Dala kicked the ball towards hi s own goal, but goalkeeper Babacar Seck dived to his right to stave off the danger. The second session resumed with Al Shamals Omar Mohammed making a powerful strike in the 52nd minute inside the striking zone, but Al Wakrahs goalkeeper Saoud Mubarak blocked it. Al Wakrah then survived a close call in the 68th minute as Al Shamals Younes Mohammed unleashed a left-foot strike from top of the box and the ball beat a diving goalkeeper but only to hit the bottom of the left post. In the 76th minute, Al Wakrahs substitute Khalid Muneer unleashed a powerful strike from just outside the box, but once again goalkeeper Seck made the save for Al Shamal diving to his left.
