The Oil and Minerals Minister , Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, inspected on Tuesday the workflow and implementation level of the activities and tasks assigned to the Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC). During the visit, the Oil Minister , his deputy Mohammed Al-Najjar, Undersecretary of the Ministry Nasser Al-Aji and Director of the General Organization for Oil and Gas Mahmoud Al-Noum listened to an explanation of the company's activities, the technical level and administrative performance, what has been achieved during the past period and the difficulties facing the company's activities. Acting CEO of the company, Mohammed Al-Lakoumi pointed out that the company faces many obstacles but is determined to overcome them despite the exceptional circumstances the country is going through as a result of the continued aggression and blockade, pointing to the damage caused by the aggression as a result of its targeting of the company's infrastructure in some of its facilities and warehouses. During his meeting with the company 's leaders and employees, Minister Al-Amir listened to the concerns and obstacles they face in performing their duties, and ways to address them. He stressed the ministry's keenness to find appropriate solutions and remedies within the framework of the priorities of the program of the government of change and construction. Al-Amir urged the company's employees to redouble their efforts and work as one team to accomplish tasks and works based on religious and national duty, pointing out the importance of job discipline.
