The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Saturday emphatically condemned the "horrible massacres" committed by the Israeli occupation in Al-Mawasi area in western Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip earlier today. In a press release, the OIC said today's massacres, which left scores of Palestinians, mostly women and children, dead or injured, reflect the unremitting genocides committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian civilians in blatant defiance of UN resolutions and International Court of Justice (ICJ) orders. The Jeddah-based body echoed its earlier call on the international community to shoulder its due responsibilities for putting an end to the nine-month Israeli military aggressions and atrocities on the Gaza Strip. Palestinian health authorities said earlier in the day that 71 Palestinians were martyred and scores of others injured in a renewed massacre by Israeli occupation forces on Khan Yunis.
