BETHLEHEM: Early this morning, a young Palestinian man was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces at a military checkpoint in the village of Al-Jaba'a, southwest of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources. The sources told WAFA that Israeli forces opened fire on a young man at the military checkpoint near the village, hitting him in the knee. His identity remains unknown. Subsequently, Palestinian Red Crescent Society ambulances promptly transported him to Hussein Hospital in nearby Beit Jala for medical treatment. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
