Occupation Forces Injure Young Man and Child During Raid on Beit Furik

BEIT FURIK: A Palestinian young man and a child were injured by Israeli gunfire during an Israeli military raid on the town of Beit Furik, located east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. The incident occurred on Thursday evening amid a series of confrontations between local residents and Israeli forces. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a 34-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were shot in the leg and hand, respectively, during the raid. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that dozens of individuals were also treated for suffocation after inhaling tear gas deployed by the Israeli military. The sources detailed that several Israeli military patrols entered various neighborhoods in Beit Furik, which resulted in heavy gunfire and the use of tear gas, leading to clashes with local residents. The situation in Beit Furik remains tense following the raid.
