TULKAREM: The Israeli occupation forces continued tonight its relentless destruction of infrastructure at Tulkarem refugee camp, which began in the noon hours today following a large-scale military incursion. Faisal Salama, head of the Popular Committee for Refugee Services, told WAFA correspondent that the camp is now under a strict siege. All entrances and roads leading to it were blocked, and snipers were deployed snipers in all areas, amid heavy and indiscriminate firing on every moving object, he added. He said the occupation bulldozers are digging and destroying the remaining infrastructure and properties of the citizens, including at the northern main entrance, as well as in several neighborhoods and the center of the camp. The bulldozing also left barriers of asphalt and rocks that blocked the roads, he added. Salama said the occupation destroyed the power lines supplying the camp, causing power outages in large parts of the camp, in addition to water cuts. Describing the situation inside the cam p as very difficult, he said: "We could not catch our breath after the last aggression and were surprised by a new aggression that inflicted destruction on the remainder of the camp. Large military forces, accompanied by heavy machinery and bulldozers, stormed the city of Tulkarem from its western entrance today at noon and besieged two hospitals. The occupation forces launched an aggression on the city of Tulkarem and its camps last Wednesday at dawn. The military assault lasted for 48 hours, and resulted in the killing of four citizens and the injury of several others, in addition to significant damage to infrastructure and properties of citizens.
