The northern districts of Hodeida Governorate commemorated on Wednesday a cultural speech event commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali, peace be upon them, under the slogan "Insight and Jihad". During the event, a number of speeches were delivered stressing that commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zayd represents an opportunity to recall a history full of courage, revolution and insight that Imam Zaid called for as a slogan summarizing his revolution project derived from the guidance of Allah in the face of Umayyad tyranny. The anniversary of the occasion was considered a source of strength and pride for the Islamic nation throughout history and has its connotations as a renewed revolution as an extension of the revolution of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, reviewing the Yemeni stand with the Palestinian people and supporting the battle of Al-Aqsa flood as a victory for right and oppression. It pointed to the importance of embodying the revolutionary path that is right and reminding the symbols of the nation and their exploits in upholding the banner of Islam and confronting the might of infidelity and injustice, pointing out that what the Yemeni people suffer today is caused by the refusal to submit and surrender to the forces of tyranny and adherence to the approach of the Prophet of Allah.
