Amman: At least 18 people were killed and many wounded in an armed attack in the Nigerian state of Benue, Nigerian authorities announced. According to the head of the Kastina-Ala region, Justin Shacko, the attack was carried out by "unknown" persons on Sunday, adding that state government authorities sent additional security forces to the region after the attack.
