A meeting at the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning has discussed topics related to the lands of Sana'a province and new plans in a number of areas in the province. The meeting reviewed the plans for Qaa al-Manqab, Reed, and Matnah areas. It touched on the completed reservations and the international park in al-Sawad, and citizens' grievances regarding the plans that were recently launched. The meeting stressed the need for coordination between the competent authorities to reduce random construction and preserve agricultural areas and public streets. At the meeting, Sana'a local council official Abdulqader al-Ghailani stressed the importance of the neighborhood units' plans contributing to the delivery of basic and other services. Al-Ghailani stressed the necessity of implementing these plans on reality, as this would reduce random construction that hinders the services that the community seeks and which the local authority aspires to provide.
