Baghdad, The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, stressed the importance of holding parliamentary elections in the region with the participation of all parties. The Presidency of the Region said in a statement: 'Barzani met today with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Durrell, and discussed with him the internal situation of the region, France's relations with Iraq and Kurdistan, and relations between Erbil and Baghdad.' In another aspect of the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of holding parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan region with the participation of all parties, and the two sides positively appreciated the developments in the dialogue between the federal and regional governments.
