NASA and SpaceX announced a launch date for a new crewed mission to the International Space Station. According to the agency, NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov are preparing for the launch of the SpaceX Crew-9 mission. The astronauts are scheduled to launch aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft from Launch Complex 39 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. NASA noted that the Crew-9 mission will conduct new scientific research to prepare for human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit.
