Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammed Mustafa stressed that the awareness of the Palestinian people and their commitment to hold onto their homeland will defeat all attempts at displacement that have continued since the Nakba, including the occupation entity's plan to displace the people of Palestine in Gaza after 8 months of systematic destruction and ongoing genocide, during which more than 100,000 Palestinian were either murdered or injured. In a statement reported by Palestinian news agency (Wafa) on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Nakba of the State of Palestine, Palestinian Prime Minister stressed that the escalation of attacks by the occupation and its colonialists in the West Bank, including Occupied Jerusalem, will not push the Palestinian people to kneel, surrender or leave, adding that the Palestinian people and the Palestinian leadership will preserve in the face of Israeli threats as they preserved throughout the past decades. He pointed out that the commemoration of the Nakba by the Palestinian people in Palestine as well as those in various parts around the globe, the rise of international support for the Palestinian cause, and the demonstrations and protests taking place in many countries around the globe, confirm the validity of Palestinians' rights. These elements also reflect the world's faith in the rights of the Palestinian people, expose the horridness of the occupation and the falsity of its narrative, and bring us closer to establishing our independent state with Al-Quds as its capital, he added. May 15 marks the 76th anniversary of the Nakba of the Palestinian people, which tragically forced the displacement of about 950,000 Palestinians from their own cities and towns, out of 1,400,000 Palestinians who lived in 1,300 villages and cities. The anniversary of the Nakba comes as the Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 222nd consecutive day, during which the occupation has murdered at least 35,173 Palestinians - the majority of whom were ch ildren, and injured at least 79,061 Palestinians, while thousands of other Palestinians remain under the rubble.
