Two people were killed and two others were injured in a tribal conflict north of Najaf Governorate. The Najaf Police Command said in a statement: 'A quarrel occurred in Haidariyah district, north of the governorate, due to a dispute over agricultural land between members of two clans, which developed into the use of weapons and shooting.' The command added: "The shooting led to the death of two people and the wounding of two others." It indicated: 'The security services took control of the situation and cordoned off the area and arrested three defendants, who are being investigated by the competent authorities.'
